My journey didn’t begin with a camera or a design tool. It started with wonder. I remember being a kid, sketching out war scenes in the margins of notebooks, inspired by old history books I barely understood. The drawings were my way of imagining what people felt in those moments. I didn’t have the words back then, but I was already trying to make sense of the world around me.
Stories pulled me in, not because of how they were told, but because of how they made me feel. I wasn’t interested in timelines or perfect endings. I was interested in people. In the weight of their choices. In what stayed with them. I think that’s what I’ve always followed: the emotional thread that runs quietly underneath everything.
Eventually, I found new tools. I borrowed my cousin’s camera and started looking for moments that felt honest—moments that held stillness, tension, or something unspoken. Photography taught me how to pay attention. Writing helped me process what I saw. Design gave me another way to shape the thoughts I couldn’t always explain.
These things, photos, words, design work, they’re not separate to me. They all come from the same place. A need to understand, to express, and to connect with someone on the other end.
I create to reach people. To pause them for a second. To remind them of something quiet but familiar. The kind of feeling that doesn’t need to shout to be heard.
That’s what I care about. Not just the finished work, but everything that led to it. The questions, the process, the weight behind every choice. For me, beauty isn’t the goal. It’s the entry point to something deeper.
